The girl painter

Hi, this is my story about a girl painter. My class made stories  with a programme called Storybird.
I think that doing it is great because you can write about what you like w and you can put some pictures too.
I hope that you will enjoy it and you can create one.

Camino de Santiago

The 21th of March, I and other students of 4ºESO went to Camino de Santiago. We went with religion's teacher and history's teacher.
We walked around 70 kilometres during five days. We began in Palas de Rei and we finished in Santiago de Compostela.

The first part was from Palas de Rei to Melide.
The second part was from Melide to Arzúa.
The third part was from Arzúa to O Pedrouzo.
The fourth part was from O Pedrouzo to Monte do Gozo.
The last part was from Monte do Gozo to Santiago de Compostela.

We got up early about 7-8 o'clock  in the mornings, we had breakfast and then we walked into the forest, some villages and we threw some hihgways.
We didn't walk in the afternoons, because we stopped in a youth hostel after we finished to have lunch. So, we visited the different villages.

As long as we walked, we talk a lot, we sang, we took a lot of photos and Cristina and I did an interview to two english men.













Cristina and me said: Hi, we are english students at Jaime Gil de Biedma School in a village called Nava de la Asunción in Segovia. Could we ask you a few questions for an English project?
They said: Yes, no problem.
We said: Thank you. What are your names?
John said: I'm John.
Tom said: I'm Tom.
We said: Where are you from?
They said: We're from York.
We said: Ouh yes, Our teacher told us where it is.  Which languages can you speak?
John said: I spoke Portuguese, English, French… but I lost my memory because I had a stroke.
Tom said: He walks a lot and it's good for his health.
We said: Yes, It's healthy. And you? Which languages can you speak?
John said: Ouh, I only speak english and a bit spanish.
We said: Good, it's fantastic. Are you on holiday in Galicia?
They said: Yes, When we finish the Camino, we'll stay two weeks there.
We said: Where are you staying now?
They said: We're staying in Rivadiso.
We said: In a hostel, hotel..?
They said: In a youth hostel.
We said: What are your jobs?
John said: I was an engineer.
Tom said: I had many jobs. I was a professional footballer, I was a bookmaker for horses and other jobs.
We said: It's great. Which parts of Spain have you visited?
They said: Barcelona, Gran Canarias, Santander, Bilbao, Oviedo, Vigo…
We said: Which place did you like most?
They said: I like the north of Spain, Santillana del Mar, Altamira caves...
We said: Ok. Do you like Spanish food?
They said: Yes.
We said: What is your favourite dish?
John said: I like boquerones and octopus.
Tom said: I don't know, I like all. The food is very good.
I said: I think that the food is better in the north of Spain that in the south.
They said: Yeah yeah.
We said: What do you like most about Spain?
They said: The girls.
( Everybody laughed)
We said: And what don't you like about Spain?
They said: The airport, because We go home.
I said: I think that it's all.
They said: Oouh OK, It was good.
We said: Ouh thank you, thank you.

I recommend to do Camino de Santiago because it's an unforgettable experience. You can sleep with other people, you can see the same people during the Camino, the landscapes are very beautiful, all of them have many green places and if you go to a restaurant or a bar, you can sure that you eat very well because the food are excellent. But someone excellent it's the catedral of Camino de Santiago, it's great that we could see it.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift was born in Pensilvania. She’s an american singer, actress and composer of his songs. Taylor sings country music. When she was fourteen years old, she moved to Tenessee to continue her career in the country music. She works with the Big Machine Records discography. She’s the youngest singer-songwriter hired by Sony/ATV Music publishing house. Her first album was “Taylor Swift” in 2006, and it was the most famous with her song “Our Song”. She received a reward of “Best New Artist” and she was nominated for the Grammy prizes in 2008.

Taylor did her second album “Fearless” in 2008.  “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me” were very successful. It was sold in the whole world in 2009. This disc won four Grammys and Taylor became in the youngest winner to “Album of the Year”. “Fearless” received more prizes as: American Music Awards, Academy of Country, Music Awards and Country Music Association Awards.

Her third album was in 2010 called Speak Now. It sold more one million copies in the first week, and the song “Mean” won two Grammys. Then she began her  Speak Now World tour where more 1,5 million fans were there.

“Red” was her fourth album that Taylor did in october 2012. It sold 6 million of disc. “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” was the first song that it went to number 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 list.

Taylor writes songs about her teen and adult experiences. 

Swift has won seven Grammy, ten American Music Awards, seven Country Music Association Awards, six Academy of Country Music Awards and thirteen BMI Awards.

She sold more twenty three million of albums and fifty millions unloads of songs in the whole world.

She works in the film “San Valentin’s Day in 2010 and in the animated film “The Lorax” in 2012.

I really like this singer because she helps to very children in the world with her charity concerts. This example could serve to an others famous or rich people.
